Kim Jong Il giving field guidance

Kim Jong Il looking at things was a giant hit with bloggers on the internet. We westerners would think that the North Koreans would not be amused since these blogs did not take the dear leader very serious. The opposite seems to be true since the North Koreans posted many new photos and stories on Kim giving field guidance on the state website Naenara.

Kim regularly made field trips like his father did to assist North Korean workers, farmers and KPA army units with valuable field guidance helping them to improve production methods and raise productivity. Proud factory managers or other officials usually show the Dear leader their recently produced goods like Corn, water bottles, fish, socks and much more.

The stories of Kim’s exploits can be found on the official North Korean web portal www.naenara.com.kp. The first articles about Kim Jong Il’s activities were added early May 2011. A total of 102 articles were added until his last Field Guidance tour in a Pyongyang supermarket a day before his death. Kim Jong Un can be seen on most of the photos, so it seems introducing him to the country and rest of the world is the ultimate aim of these publications.
